UNN Graduates 10,425 Students During 46th Convocation Ceremony

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Prof. Benjamin Ozumba during the 4th convocation ceremony made known to the general public that Ninety four out of the 10,425 graduating students bagged first class honour.

Ozumba disclosed that the University awarded 10, 494 first degree and diploma certificates to deserving young men and women who had been found worthy in character and in learning, Breakdown of the figure according to class of the degrees and certificates include:
  • First Class Honours 94
  • Second Class Honours (Upper Division) 3,098
  • Second Class Honours (Lower Division) 5,145
  • Third Class Honours 1,653
  • Diploma 93
  • University Certificate  314
He urged the new graduates to be good ambassadors of the university wherever they find themselves.
